3.0 Update good for 3.5 also

Is the 3.0 update on the website good for the 3.5 that came with my Pioneer burner as well? I did download and install it, before thinking about it. I hope that was the right thing to do. I've got a couple of issues I'm trying to resolve and wonder if that might be the problem.

Hi, Tom:

For DVDMF 3.5, you only need to update the following update packs:

Ulead Data-Add 2.0 Update Pack
16X DVD Burning Pack

Looks like I have been wrong. I don't have version 3.5 at all - I have the Version 3.0 OEM version that came with my Pioneer AO7 burner. According to the update section, it looks like the update pack is only valid for retail versions. I guess that is why the patch didn't fix my problem with using video without audio that I mentioned in another thread.

Is that actually the case? Will I not be able to update my software?

I don't know where I got the idea that it was 3.5. I must have gotten confused, as I think I helped a friend install 3.5 on his computer. I need more coffee today!

For DVDMF 3.0 SE, you can install the following update packs:

General Updates:

CD/DVD Engine Update Packs
Ulead Data-Add 2.0 Update Pack
16X DVD Burning Pack

Program Updates:

Build 300P01 Update Pack

For DVDMF 3.0 full version (Standard and Disc Creator), you can install all update packs.
