[PhotoImpact 12] CRASH while using Text Tool

Hello,
I am having a problem with PhotoImpact 12. When I tried to insert text to my work, ie the moment I clicked on my work after selecting the Text Tool, the PhotoImpact crashed.

Thats what I got.
After clicking on Ok, another box popped up.

Please help me on this issue. Thank you.

P.S. I am using Windows XP SP2

Anyways, I fixed it by disabling DEP on Iedit.exe.

P.S. It should be Iedit.exe, not Iedit_.exe.

I have the same problem, specially when I try to adjust the text in the graphic and the text is in German language.
How can I get a solution?

Hello,
To disable DEP, just follow the steps on http://bbs.betabbs.com/index.php?showto ... linearplus. Select Iedit.exe as the application.
