need help

Post by GetFunky »

hey so just registered on here, and I recently have been having real trouble with my ulead video studio 10. At first I had a long clip in the timeline and when I went to create a movie (mpeg1) It would randomly shut my computer off some where while making the movie. So then I went to the ulead website and downloaded an update thinking that that might be the problem, and now when i go to click on the ulead video studio icon on my desktop a pop up says unable to load library 'TBYB'.

Some one please help me out here.

thanks.

Hi
Welcome to the forum,

TBYB, ¡¥try before you buy¡¦ indicates that you have the trial version still installed.
Afaik you should uninstall this before installing the full version.

From Uleads knowledge Database:-

If you need to download the TBYB version, you can do so from the following link:
http://www.ulead.com/vs/trial.htm.

Windows Explorer is what you use (if a PC), when you go to My Documents, My Computer, other Harddrives, etc., So to open Windows Explorer, click on the Start button (lower left of your screen), then My Computer. The window that opens is a Windows Explorer window, and not Internet Explorer.

Did you download a 'Trial Version' (TBYB) before you purchased the full version.
Feedback after members have endeavoured to help you is not only good manners it also helps others to know if a given solution was effective. Thanks.

that didnt help really. All it said was to backup your stuff.

Not saying how to get your download and serial back, and as a matter of fact I have my serial number.

When you purchased the full version, did you receive an email with links to download the full version of the program (not the TBYB one)? If so, you should be able to download the files again using the same links.

If not, then I would contact whoever you purchased the program from (Element5?), and ask them for new links. You'll obviously need to provide proof of purchase etc, but at this stage, that's about the only recourse I can think of.

I don't know if you realize this, but this is a user forum. Nobody here is a Ulead employee, and as such, we're unlikely to be able to help with questions like "where on my PC do I find the files i downloaded?'. Even if we were Ulead employees I doubt we could answer this. It will be different on every computer, and depends entirely on the user. You can't seriously expect anybody else to know where you saved your files.....come on.

peace.
