DVD Workshop Error Code DVD-9

Post by Riet Noordzij-Toebak »

I am trying to make a DVD-9 from a project which is 5.0 GB. Time: 3:30:00. I want to make an image of the project so I can burn it later on from my HD to a DVD-9.
When I make the image the project stops at 92 %. The error message is:
Unspecified Error
Error Code 8004138c.
I don't know the meaning of this error code
I contacted Ulead and followed their instructions. I downloaded upgrades and so on.
It still doesnt work.
What am I doing wrong?
My machine:
P4 3,2
Memory 1024
HD 120 GB (2x) 7200rpm
Windows 2000 Prof.
DVRaptor 2
Ulead DVD workshop 2 (+ updates)
I hope some one can help me or assist me with this problem

I think step by step descriptions would be helpful.

The properties of your source materials and the project settings?

I think I found the solution to my problem.
I made the MPEG with to much bitrates/sec! The file was then to big ( more than 8.5 GB) to fit on a DVD-9 DL. I decreased the bitrate during encoding to MPEG and now I have the entire project on a DVD-9 DL!!
I used the bitrate calculator: http://dvd-hq.info/Calculator.html#Calculator
Thanks for your support
