DVD MF6- error msg-Failed to load the Resource....

I just purchased DVD MF 6- and when I try to open 'UL DVD MF 6'- I get the error "Failed to load the Resource. Please re-install Ulead DVD Movie Factory”.
When I try t open the UL DVD MF6 Launcher, I get the start up window, but selecting anything on it calls up the 'select burner' (of which I can chose my Plextor PX-708A or LG CD burner- clicking OK- brings up the same message- Failed to load the resource...."


I was unaware that this DVDMF6 will only burn to DVD-ROM or DVD -RW.
The specs for it say "compatible DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, DVD-RAM or CD-R/RW drive...”
Well my DVD burner can’t do the -RW, but it can to -R, and the CD burner can do -R/RW...

I have, (and have had) other UL products- VS5, 6, & 7, DVDMF2, and MSPro7...PC is up to date on software updates and all...
60G of space, 1G processor 384 of RAM....

UL Tech support suggested only to get MS updates...I'm up to date there..

So what’s up?
