MPEG to AVI or WMV Conversion

I'd like to convert a MPEG file (MPEG 2, I think) to AVI or WMV format. Can Vs 10+ do this? I thought it was possible but can't see how to do it.

If not, are there any utilities (preferably free!!) that will do it. I found ones that will convert AVI/WMV to MPEG but not the other way around.

Sure. If you have more than one MPEG, use Tools - Batch convert in VS 10+, if not (or if you want to "convert" a whole project with MPEGs on the timeline) simply use Share - Create Video File - Custom, then select "Microsoft AVI files" and later the encoder (e.g. "None") in Options.

A free utility I could recommend is "Super", discussed quite a few times on this board.
