capture and project

hi, im using sony dcr trv480E with mp 8...whatt i am confused is capture format...as it is from digital source i use LFF..

1 in project properties do i need to follow this LFF or set it as frame based?

2 in doing to render to mpg 1, do i need to change this LFF to frame based?
