Ulead F/X Plugin for GIF Animator

Hello, I have just downloaded the Ulead GIF Animator 5.0 and it works great (purchased it after trying it out for only 10 minutes!!!). Then, I purchased the new Ulead F/X Plugin that is for the Ulead GIF Animator. I downloaded the setup and ran it and it keeps telling me that it "can not find the Ulead Gif Animator 2.0 or above" and that I need to install that before I can continue. Ok, so I re-installed the GIF Animator and tried again and got the same thing...what gives???

Where exactly is GIF Animator 5 installed - is it on the C:\ drive?

Did you let GA 5 install itself to the prefilled directory in the setup program?

Yes, I let it install itself into the prefilled directory...C drive in the Program Files. The file is named Ulead Systems then inside that it's Ulead GIF Animator TBYB.

Any clue why this could be happening???

F/X may not like that "TBYB" in there...

Try uninstalling GA 5 again. Then open Windows Explorer, and delete the folder "Ulead GIF Animator TBYB."

Reinstall GA 5, and if the install program tries installing it to "Ulead GIF Animator TBYB" then change the folder name to Ulead GIF Animator 5.

Then give F/X another go.
