video file at double speed

Post by papat1 »

I have captured a video file from my VHS recorder to my HD,but when I play it,it is not playing at normal speed. It is probably in fast forward speed,or close to it.How can I slow this video down. Thanks Papat1

How do you capture the video file? And what DVD MovieFactory version do you use?

Have you asked ADS Tech Support for updated driver?

Have you applied the update packs for DMF from http://www.ulead.com/dmf/dmf.htm ?

I have installed the update, but have not checked about an updated driver. This whole problem started when I had to capture a VHS tape using Movie Factory instead of Capwiz. There is a slight glitch in the tape,so Capwiz stopped at that point and wouldn't continue the capture. I found that Movie Factory would continue right through the glitch, but ended up with a fast replay as stated in my other post. I've also tried to edit out the glitch on this MPG file using Movie Factory, deleting the various frames, but have had no luck. Thanks H.T for your input.
