The File Name is invalid

Post by Robbo1 »

Having created an extensive slideshow and nearing the end, I found the program crashed and every time I try to open not only the slideshow I was working on but others as well, I get the error message stating 'The File name........is invalid'.

Have tried re-booting and re-installing to no avail.

Please help, I don't want to have to create the files all over again.

Thanks

Rob,

You might check your system file associations and make sure the DPS extension is registered to (opens with) "Ulead CD & DVD Picture Show". If you have another program on your PC that happens to use the same extension, your original association may have been altered. For example, DIVX Player uses "DPS" as the extension for it's skinning options. In such a case you can either re-register the extension to Ulead CD & DVD Picture Show through Folder Options > File Types (in Windows XP) or you leave the current association "as is" and open your project files by right-clicking on them and selecting the "open with" command from the context menu and pointing to Ulead DVD & Picture Show.
