Help with diagonal fill PI12

Post by erock »

Hi,

I have a box and I wish to fill the bottom half of it with the top being at a 45o angle.

The left side would start at 2500 from the top and the right side on an up angle of about 45o at 1500 from the top.

I have tried several things but can't find a way to fill the angle.

Thanks

can you provide more information?

You can use the path tool (toolbox) to draw just about any shape.

If you want to draw a perspective view of a 2D box, you can use the path drawing tool and then transform tool and then distort.

If you give me more details i may be able to help further

That's actually pretty easy to do.

On the left tool bar, select the Linear Gradient Fill Tool.
On the menu, set the two colors for your gradient.
Drag your mouse from the upper left corner down to the lower right corner and release. That will give you a gradient fill at an angle.

You can change the gradient by dragging the mouse about half-way down from corner to corner and releasing it. Wherever you release the mouse, the second color comes into play.
