Program Crashes in Image Folders

I just purchased and installed PictureShow 4

The program starts without any issues.

I select New Photo Slideshow and the Add Photos dialog box pops up. I attempt to move to a folder with my images the program crashes. I get an error message "Ulead CD & DVD PictureShow has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

ObviouslyI have no other choice but to click Close and the program shuts down.

I've done a complete removal and reinstall as outlined in these forums and the problem still persists.

It seems to be a problem regardless of what folder I go to that contains images.

I am up against a serious deadlie to get a presentation done and need to know if there's any chance of getting this to work? Any suggestion would be appreciated.
