System crashed wiping-out MF5+ plus MF6 (update to MF5+).
Thankfully, I had saved the downloaded files to another hard disk so I can re-install. But, I've got no Serial Numbers!
I assume they were sent to me via email, but these were lost in the crash. I only have the print-out of my orders.
According to Ulead, after you register you have an account that keeps your SN etc. When I log in, and look at my account:
1) None of my latest (2006 and 2007) downloads -- for which I have hardcopy receipts -- are not listed. Only one from 2005.
2) It shows no registered products. But I did register all of them.
Any ideas how to deal with Ulead?
How to get lost Serial Numbers from Ulead?

Thank you,

Not a useful post since Ulead claims they DO maintain a database of what they sell. And, in fact, they do have a record of something I bought in 2005.
But, no record of what I bought in 2006 and 2007. The latter within the last month. Both for which I have copies of the order emails sent to me by element 5 and Ulead.
In the email from Ulead, unlike other companies, there are Serial Numbers. Only a REFERENCE number which is useless other than it matches the ORDER NUMBER on the element 5 email. So Ulead obviously has a way of tracking orders, but no humans that can be contacted.
I've sent them an email as they ask, but no response from them.

That is rather odd, as Ulead shows all of my registered products, current (2007) back to my first in 2004.
You stated you sent them an email, how about logging in to Ulead's site, and then completing a Customer Service Form?

I looked more closely at the emails from element 5.
Although they add a dash# to your email address each time you order -- a bizarre practice IMHO -- if your follow their directions on each email you can wind-up with your Serial Numbers!
I have no idea why Ulead did not have the same information.
Hope this thread proves useful to others. There are two ways to get what you need: Ulead and element 5.
