OK,
I know how to mute. Easy. But whenever I Multi-trim, it resets so the there is sound (which I don't want).
If I Split by scene, it just states "The Clips attributes will be reset to default settings first before you can use split by scene". But nothing happens.
So the simply question is, what is the simplest way to mute all the sound of the movie I want tp split?
Cant' mute if splitting or trimming

IIRC the only way to do this is either mute them separately or after multi-trim or Split by Scene, render a video file, using Same as Project Settings or First Video Clip. That way they will be joined into one clip. Then start a new project, insert that newly created video file and select mute.

This probably should read:-
"The Clips attributes should be reset to default settings first before you can use split by scene"
Allowing you to undo the mute.
Afaik, You cannot use ¡¥split by scene¡¦ on an edited clip.
Either:-
1/ Mute the clip, re-render to same as first clip.
This will produce a new video clip with no audio
Using the new clip split by scene.
2/ Split by scene then mute the individual clips.
3/ Edit your project using the original audio, render to new, Finally adding/replace audio to Mp3 in new clip.
Some users have had problems when using Mp3 audio. If you experience problems use Wav files.
Hope this Helps
Trevor
