Windows goes to Safe mode after restart after installing

I downloaded the 5 files of 100MB each & intalled Movie Factory 6. It installed OK & ran OK. But when I restarted my computer Windows wouldn't load. I had to run it in safe mode. I went to System Restore & got back to before I installed MF. Windows started ok. I deleted all the MF files & tried again. Same problem. I hope when I get the back up CD I paid for, that it will install & run OK.[/b]

Probably not, after the computer came up in safe mode why didn't you shutdown again (completely off), and try powering on a 2nd time before performing a restore.
Also, I would make sure you don't have any disks in the cd/dvd drives when rebooting.

I rebooted 4 times, deleted it it twice, Divx Codec was renamed to Divx Codec (2) then windows started OK. I will completely turn it off the next time & let you know.

I reloaded it again, turned off the coputer & it went back to running in safe mode only. Had to go back a day with System Restore. My demo CD ran perfectly.
