Getting chapter marks to show up in WinDVD Creator 2.

I'm having a problem getting chapter marks to show up in WinDVD Creator 2.

I've created a storyboard with 10 chapters, but only chapters 1, 2, 3, 6, and 10 have chapter marks (and hence, only they show up on the DVD menu).

No matter what I do, the other chapters -- while they appear in the storyboard -- will not accept a chapter mark.

When I right click on them, the pop up menu for add or delete chapter marks is grey, inactive.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Adam

Chapter marks question

Post by adamsj »

Thank you for your prompt reply. As you can see, since you posted a Sticky right above my post, I did actually post my question in the forum before I contacted you -- but seeing that the forum doesn't have that many visitors, and having experienced forums such as this before, I can easily estimate it may be a year before someone leaves me a knowledgable answer to my question.

I will go ahead and re-post the question using the guidelines you outlined in your sticky note, and then hope that I may get an answer from you or someone else that helps me through this problem.

I am an author and journalist. I'm pretty thorough in reading owners manuals, but the only owners manual I have for any intervideo product is a couple of pages in the Compaq Presario owners manual.

In addition, I scoured the WinDVDCreator's help/manual and found it -- as with most manuals -- sorely lacking in detail.

The closest it got to answering my question about chapter marks was how to remove one, and not a hint toward what to do should you have any trouble with chapter marks.

If you have input to the company's manual writing staff, you might press them to get more detailed.

I did also search the company's online info before I even got into the forum, and found even less information, and absolutely no RELEVANT information for my problem.

It's probably a simple problem, but I can't figure it out.

I'll re-post tomorrow.

Thanks,

Adam
