Running WinDVD on Vista

Post by howarddenton »

When running WinDVD on Vista Ultimate the DVD sticks sometimes. The picture goes into slow motion for a few seconds. It seems to happen when I am running IE7 as well.

Yes I believe WinDVD 8 have problems with Internet Explorer 7, too.
After upgrading to IE7 the WinDVD solution center don't work any longer! What have we buyed...

Why not install Firefox
Many people consider it better than internet explorer - it is FREE.

Because WinDVD 8 functions use embedded IE6 functions...
Firefox will not solve that problem with WinDVD 8!

WinDVD and Vista

I also have a problem running WinDVD 8 platinum on Vista.. Not only does it freeze.. I get a great big blue screen. This happen usually a bit out in the movie..
Then when I try to apply the patch WinDVD_8.006.104_Patch I get a message that claims:
" WinDVD version is invalid, uppgrade process failed"

As girly have stated earlier I'm still waiting for answers on my emails to intervideo support...

Anyone have had the same problems??

Regards
