help.....transfering to dvd
i recently bought a samsung digital cam it came with videostudio 9 but my interface does not look the one on here i am missing the to transfer from dv. why?also can i put my dv disc in the pc and turn into a dvd that i can watch on tv, if so how? any help would be appeciated.

What model is your camcorder? In the CAPTURE step, use the Import from DVD/DVD-VR option (check that your version has that feature). It will import the mpeg files from the minDVD disc to your hard drive.shamic4 wrote:HI YES IT DOES USE THOSE LITTLE DISCS, THE MODEL IS A VP-DC565Wi

Put the mini-DVD in your computer's DVD drive.
Click on the Capture tab, and you should find an option to Import from DVD. That will create an MPEG A/V file on your hard drive. From there, you should be able to follow the recommended procedure to create a DVD.
If you didn't get a user manual, you can download it here. You probably have a limited "SE" version, so your software might not exactly match the user manual. But, the user manual should still be useful to you.
