That's right, its 9586 kbps with Dolby at 2.77Gigs.
However, once I've added all the clips together it changes the file to
7000kbps and LPCM.
Should I go into the Gear, Change the Mpeg Settings to 9586 kbps and change the audio to Dolby. Then the file size 5.70 (5.31) GIGs (without menus and ect) and just ignore the estimated size and just burn to a file?
By the way, I tried the patch, then had to restore my computer cause it would error when I tried importing DVD video from a DVD.

Should I go into the Gear, Change the Mpeg Settings back to 9586 kbps and change the audio back to Dolby? Then the file size 5.70 (5.31) GIGs (without menus and ect) and just ignore the estimated size and just burn to a folder? To see if in the end, it's at the file size it should be.

Hi,
If you prepare the video correctly on the dvd recorders,
Sony & panasonic dvd-ram or dvd-rw recorded in -VR mode.
Then you can import the whole 4+ file. Delete it from the
time-line, re-import, create new chapters, create menu's.
Immediately start the Multi-plexing process of creating the
VOB containers (no rendering unless your changing the audio).
(Or messed with the video).
It doesn't matter what the chapter setting on a Sony recorder is
set at if you prepare the dvd-rw (-VR) before finalizing then
importing into the computer.
There are additions to the (-VR) format. That's why it was created.
MovieFactory 4 finally lets you import the whole movie from a
-VR disk or DVD-R disk without splitting the video up into chapters.
You can also select the chapters.
If using MF4 you don't have to prepare the dvd(-VR) disk first
on the dvd recorder.
Nice improvement.
You can also immediately export the video to a mpeg2 file before
even going to the menu creation screen if you do need to re-render
or make a change in the video or audio side of things.
I've been creating Mpeg2 slideshows from MF4. Create the slideshow,
then export to Mpeg2 file. A really nice feature.
Both MF3 & MF4 make nice slideshows.
Hope this helps,
MD
