no audio on dvd, through the receiver

Hello,
I'd like to hear the sound of music shows which I record from television through my Yamaha receiver. I hear the sound through the speakers of my television set, but the receiver remains mute, and the L and R signs on the display of the Yamaha don't light up. Is there a solution for this?
I use MovieFactory 4 and a Hauppauge PVR-150 capture card.

Have you tried the Hauppauge update pack?

Also check Hauppauge for update drivers.
