WinDVD Cache

Post by crains »

How do I clear the WinDVD track "history" (of location on a DVD the player is at)? We have a DVD from the library with a scratch, and we want to skip over that scene if possible. However, I can't access the menu when I load the DVD, as WinDVD locks up right at the part with the scratch.

Thanks!

Open WinDVD.
Right click on the screen and on the pop up list select [Setup]
a dialogue box will appear.
On the preferences tab there is an option [Auto Resume] with the following settings to choose from
Always Start At The beginning
Always Start From Last Position
Pop Up Box to choose.

If the current Video is preventing you from even getting to the pop up box, find a video file on your hard drive using windows Explorer, Right Click and select Open with - then choose WinDVD.
