putting intervideo windvd in startup window

Post by shae »

Can somebody please tell me how I can put this in the startup drive? When I insert my dvd in my computer (Windows XP) a window comes up that says..play dvd in medias player, play dvd in real player, etc. I used to have a choice whether to play it in Intervideo Windvd, but it has disappeared. I want to put it back in here. I cannot drag it in. Anybody have any ideas as to how I can do this or if not how can I play it in Intervideo windvd. I have also tried clicking on take no action in the window and have tried accesseing directly through my Intervideo windvd program, but no luch. I can access it through windows media player, however, but want to be able to have it come through windvd so that I can capture pictures of my home movies from it. Please help and thank you.

Or you can open the Video_TS folder - right click on one of the vob files - go down to where it says open with - another box will appear that will say choose the program you want to use to open this file. Now go down and click on the browse button . Go to Program Files and open the Intervideo / Windvd 8 folder . Right click on the blue Windvd 8 icon and click on Select - then click on OK .
For me this method has never failed to to assign the media player program I want to have for the default application.
Cheers !!
