Which animation package to use?

Post by chip »

Hello again,

I was searching through the forum about animation as I am interested in creating and incorporating them into my videos (VideoStudio 10 plus user). I see Ulead has the Cool 3D Production Studio, would that be a good program to use...any suggestions (I have never done animation before).

Thanks,
Chip

There is also Ulead GIF Animator 5...

You can save your animation as a video file, in these formats:
.avi .flc .fli .flx .mov .qt and .mpg

Cool 3D PS will do animation but..... it is a highly complex program that takes a long time to render. It is best suited to short sequences such as an intro or the end credits.

If you are a VS10+ user, you should have received Cool 3D V.3 in the package. It is a cut-down version of Cool 3D PS, but will still produce some very professional looking titles. In my opinion, it is also much faster than PS in rendering. (Even on a relatively fast computer, PS will still take up to 40 minutes or more to render a ten second title animation...)
