TV capture hangs

Hi, when I try to capture any TV program the program hangs and does not reccord. The selected program is visible on the screen. I use Windows Vista. Is there a fix to this problem?

You have a Tuner card? Did it come with Vista drivers? Did it come with it's own capture software?

You are usually better off using the special capture software that came with your capture device. Some capture hardware and capture software just don't "play well together".

thank you so much for replying, jes the Tuner Card came with the system, no special software though. I am using version 6
