Hi,
Captured Hi8 through a Canopus converter, in DV NTSC format, in VS 10. Applying Anti-shake filter to a 10 second clip has the same effect as flying a jet liner through a thunder storm. HELP
Thanks Don
Anti-shake makes clip shake-worse

You are not the only one dissatisfied with the anti-shake filter. Do a search for anti-shake and you will see plenty, including this one: http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic. ... =antishake

I was also not happy with this built in filter. So, looking at the thread above, I downloaded DePan and did a quick, no changing from default, test.Black Lab wrote:You are not the only one dissatisfied with the anti-shake filter. Look here: http://ribbonrail.com/Videos/bounce_test.wmv
Without the filter on the left and with the filter on the right. Same video side by side using the overlay tracks. (Red dots are because I am running in demo mode)
I have to say, not bad at all and at $20 US or so, think I will buy this.
