Scrap booking. Know of a good program?

Hello! Instead of printing photos, and then glue them in an album, I think of adding photos and text to a page and print the whole page. Ulead have the program My Scrapbook 2. Unfortunately they do not have a trial of the program. I do not buy without know a little about what I buy. I just installed the Photo Express 6 TBY, but have not used enough time yet to understand how to use it. (In the help text in the program (in other programs too!), I wish there were a resepy answering this question: I am opening the program because I want to make one or more album pages. How do I make pages, from A to Z? I also would like to make my own page layouts. How do I do that?) Then I wonder: Do you, who read this, know of a good program to recomend me to help me making album pages?

I don't know of any program which would make anything that you asked for without an input from you. Any program still needs to get your inspiration in order to give you what you want.

Since this is a ULEAD forum I'll recommend PhotoImpact 12 to you. It can do all you ask for and more but you will have to do it. At least for PI there is a great community http://www.pircnet.com/ with oodles of help and even a free beginners workshop which will teach you how to use PI for all it's power, not just scrapbooking. I'm afraid, without your effort to learn how to use a program, your search is going to be fruitless.

the image is a bit big but the original is A4 size, printed at 300dpi and is a page in an album.
