Capture settings Error 13011:1:2

Hi all,

I have read many postings here related to capture settings. I too have a problem in this area.

When I click on capture button, I am getting the below mentioned error.

The current video capture size is [720X-576], it does not match the capture setting (DVD PAL VBR(720X576), 8000 kbps).
The adjustments may be incorrect or your capture device does not support 720X576.
Please adjust the dimensions before capturing.

Capture failed.
The created file is corrupt and unusable.
It will be automatically deleted. --- 13011:1:2

I am using trial version of Movie Factory version 2.
My computer is P4 2GHz, 512 MB RAM and 160GB HDD.
I have connected Sony handycam HC60 thru Mercury TV Tuner.
By using MGI VideoWaveIII, I could record earlier my digital video into AVI format on my hard disk. But that occupies too much space. So I was searching for an application which can directly record my digital video into DVDs. My TV and DVD player supports both PAL & NTSC.

PLease let me know if I migrate latest version of Movie Factory this problem will be automatically solved.

Also let me know the difference between VideoStudio and MovieFactory.

Similar...ready to throw the whole works in the river.

I just get the following, no other explanation:

Capture failed.
The created file is corrupt and unusable.
It will be automatically deleted. --- 13011:1:2

Everything sets up OK, and I can watch the stream to be captured. All is OK till I hit capture. I go to the directory there is no file at all.

I am using Movie Factory version 2 that came with hardware.
My computer is P4 2.4GHz, 512 MB RAM and 90+160GB HDD.
I have connected Sony handycam thru Hauppauge PVR250.

I can use Wintv to record, but cannot use Ulead.
I have deleted everything and re-installed many times, as well as deleted any DVD viewing software. Still get this error.

It might because the capture setting you are trying to use in DVDMF 2 is not supported by the driver. For Hauppauge cards, you can check http://www.ulead.com/tech/dmf/dmf.htm or contact Hauppauge for updated drivers in DVDMF 3.

For Mercury cards, I think you need to contact the manufacturer for updated drivers.
