Hiya there
I have just installed PI 12, now I'm trying to save a profile for my workspace, I've managed to get as far as saving my own profile using my own name.
Is there anyway you can flick between express view and Your own profile without having to use the drop down box.
It always seems to go to the default 'Full Edit' if i just pres the 'full edit' even if i have altered AND saved the 'full edit' profile.
If this cant be done it kinda defeats the object of being able to save profiles if you cant assign one of your own profiles as the default 'full edit'
... any ideas folks ??

Heinz is right, if you saved your profile name.xum to your hard drive each time you open PI it will open with that profile and return to that profile even when you use express and return to you name profile.
I always save (export) my profile to another hard drive too just in case something happens to PI and I lose my saved profile.

Same here. Once you save your profile, if that's the one you're using when you close PI, that's the one that will be there when you open the program again. You can then easily switch between the various profiles.
I used to save my profile as a backup but I found out it's not very effective because all it saves are your custom buttons. It doesn't save any of the libraries you've added, etc. You have to re-import all of those files.
