Disc Master problems

Hi there. I bought an asus p5n32 sli premium mobo and it comes with the media launcher package for asus mobo's. it has a bunch of programs, one of them is discmaster 2.5 platiunum(at least it claims it is platinum). However when i open disc master all the toolbar options and the burn buttons such as write disc and disc info etc are all blanked out. i can create a project but i can not burn it. do i need to get a serial activation key of asus or something?

And i thought i shouldtry here first as all the other inter video products work fine just disc master is blanking out most of the tool bar options and can't burn. but i suppose i will get onto asus if i can
