I completed a project and made a video file then I moved the files stored for my project to my external hard drive...now I want to reload the project, but I'm getting the message that the files do not exist...How do I get my program to recognize that the files are on my external hard drive? I'm using VS10+.
Can anyone help?

In the box which tells you that the files do not exist click on the 'Relink' button - then use the window which opens to browse to the new location of the file named in the 'file does not exist' box and select it and click 'open' (or is it OK) - the file and most (maybe all) of the missing files will then be relinked although depending on exactly where and how you moved the files you may have to repeat the 'Relink' exercise a number of times.
This is quite a normal routine for files which are moved.
