Nane of captured still images

I use an old version of UVS (version 6) to capture still images coming from an echographic device. Automatically I receive a name for each image that is uvs-"date"-progressiv number like for example usv070331.jpg.
Someone knows if it is possible to customize that name, having for example only uvs and progressive number without the date?

As far as I am aware, even with the most recent versions, it is not possible to customise the names of any files -- video, audio or still image -- in advance. I simply accept the name Ulead assigns, and once that is done, I use Windows normal tools to change the name.
