ULEAD Video Studio 10 - distorted sound

Hi..

I am using the 30-day trial version of ULEAD Video Studio 10 for a small project. I have installed it on Windows XP.

I am able to do all of the functions. the indivudual clips play fine( the clips created by trimming an original video which is in .mov format)

but when i preview it in project mode or try to make an mpeg file the sound is all distorted.

ANy help will be greatly appreciated.

No one will be able to help until you tell us where the original video came from, what its properties are (right click on one of the files within VS and copy the properties here); what your workflow/editing has been; what your computer specs are and what operating system you are using...
