install problems!!

downloaded the trial version to compare to pinaccles studio 10 but the program wont install keep getting :-

Firstly you may have a faulty download, try downloading again. If that fails to work then try to find this folder, and rename it.
C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Professional

I have the same problem as had Sandy90, but with the 8 version.
Tried to rename the a.m. file but nothing changed.
Tried to redownload on 2 different computer, nothing works.
Will appreciate your help, as I would like to upgrade to 10+ version, but for that purpose I need (according to Ulead) to have my 8 version properly installed.

I thought VS10 only needed to see the installation disk of the earlier version in one of your computer's optical drives... not an actual installation on your computer. The latter was only necessary where the earlier version on which you are relying was a download version with no accompanying disk.
