Difference (if any) between the 3 JPEG file types in PI 10

What is the difference (if any) between the 3 JPEG file types available in the Save As dialog box in PhotoImpact 10?

To recap, they are:
1) JP2 (JPEG 2000 file format with metadata)
2) JPC/J2K (JPEG 2000 file format)
3) JPG/JPEG/JPE (JPEG 2000 file interchange format)
