Movie Factory 6 "Not enough room error"

Post by prowler4 »

I just downloaded the trial for MF 6 since I'm fed up with 3.5 and everything works fine until I get to the end. I click on the burn icon and a message comes up saying something like "the working path C:// blah blah does not have enough room. We will help clean the converted cache. You can also change the working path." Something along those lines.

What does it mean? I have about 6.2 GB of free harddrive space. Is that what it means?

Thanks for any advice in advance.

I believe what it says... You need more space on your hard drive. It seems to require about double the DVD space on your hard drive. So, if you are burning a full 4.3GB single-sided DVD, it will need about 8.6GB of temporary hard disk space.

For video work, you need a lot of disk space! Often, I've got an unedited file, and an edited version of the video file on my hard drive. These files may take up more space than the DVD, depending on the format. And, I usually have a copy of the DVD folders on my drive.
