DVDMF V4.0 - Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-USB2 - Usageage causes cras

Post by G-Omaha »

I upgraded from version 3.0 to version 4.0 last evening.

I have a P4 3.4GHz processor and the new version runs real slow and appears to have a lot of problems - including crashing when I select the TV Tuner as an input device. The software recognizes that the tuner is present; however, I can't use it.

In version 3.0, that was a patch for this tuner. Does anyone know if there is a similiar patch for version 4.0? Or better yer, has anyone gotten this type of TV tuner to work with this software?

Do you have a copy of DVD MovieFactory 3? Or you bought DVDMF 4 directly?

I think you can also ask Hauppauge Tech Support to help to provide the updated capture driver.

Hope this helps.

I have versions 2.0 SE, 3.0, 3.5, and just purchased 4.0 directly from U-LEAD's online site.

Updated all Hauppauge Drivers - Didn't help much. Now the application does not crash when select the PVR; however, it still does not work.
