changing Save format from ufo

changing Save format from ufo

Is there a way to change the the .ufo in the save/save as format to say .jpg?

Yes, in the Save as Type, which is below where you type the name for your image, there is a drop-down menu. Click on it, and you will find numerous formats to choose from.

I should of said, is there a way to change the default option onf .ufo to something else?

The default is on "UFO" for a very good reason. If you save your creation while working on it, you would not want to save it any other way. Jpeg does not allow for for a layered structure of your image, gif reduces the color depth etc. The native ufo format will not reduce image quality with consecutive saves, other formats will. If you were to save in jpg, all your objects would be merged with the background and the image would deteriorate with every subsequent save.

Thanks, never really thought of it that way.
Had not used .ufo, so I guess I have a good reason
to use it on ocassion.

Hey folks, I only have DVD workshop 2 and I need to incorporate the buttons in .ufo format into a video that loads as a first play video. How do I convert the .ufo files to a different format?

PI saves in UFO format by default, just as that *ahem* other program saves in PSD format by default... :wink:
