joining video clips

Has anyone had trouble joining video clips in using MovieFactory 3.0 and with the multi-trim/retain selections tool? I copied my home videos from camera using DVD Xpress, brought into MF, and TRIED to trim some unwanted footage using multitrim...worked fine, all clips appeared in clip list at bottom of screen...But when I hit OK, they all disappeared and only the original (entire) video was left...Would appreciate any ideas--thanks!

Are you sure you only have the full original video clip left?
In Movie Factory when you multitrim and then return to the storyboard you only see one thumbnail - this is for the trimmed video.

Good advice...I thought I checked just exactly what was in the remaining clip, but will do so again just to be sure...many thanks for your response!
