Can some one help me, or point me to the tutorial for this.
I have a rather large project. It will have A LOT of chapters. How do I organize the chapters into groups
For example lets say the life of a child
Beginning
-birth
-adolesent year
-teen years
Middle
-Highschool
-college
Adult
-first job
-ect
-ect
you get the point. but, on the main menu, you would have
Beginning
Middle
Adult
When you choose one of those options, you get the sub menus.

If you create 3 separate video Titles (Beginning, Middle, Adult), you can then add your chapter points to each Title, and then have the Authoring program create a chapter menu (as well as a Title Menu). This should give you the menu structure you have described.
I would test it on some small files first. Just use 3 small video clips, with each having a couple of chapters. Author to your hard drive, and playback using WinDVD or PowerDVD to make sure it's what you are looking for...

I captured the video from my Sony MiniDV SC36 camcorder through firewire.
Captured with VS10 capturing program. The captured Video is on my external 500GB HHD.
Sorry for the lack of info, but i hope this helps

Have a read of the User's Manual. Video projects and chapters starts on page 119.
