I'm starting a new DVD project, and then I click on the + Sign to Add Video files. I can select the video (MPEG file) and I click Open. However, nothing really opens so I don't have the option to click Next. It's grayed out. I don't see the movie in the window at all.
I've tried to open other movies and they don't open either.
I have Windows Media Player 11 installed on my system. As part of the installation I also installed the Windows Media Encoder 9 series.
I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it but if anybody has any suggestions let me know.

Welcome to the forums,
Try doing a complete un-install/re-install. Ulead programs leave a lot of files behind. So just doing a simple add/remove programs from the control panel and then re-installing may not correct some issues. Instructions can be found here : Re-installation of Ulead Products
Just a FYI, Intervideo * Ulead has now released DMF6 +, which is miles above DMF3. Even if you don't own an HD camcorder or have the capability of producing HD or BD disks, the added features and flexibilty would be worth it. You can download a trial version HERE.
