I downloaded and installed the trial version of Visual Studio 10 this evening and it installed without error. Seems to work as I fumbled through from camcorder capture to burning a dvd. However, when I click the question mark to the right of the title bar and then Help, or if I press F1, I get:
"Cannot find the help file"
message. Is there no Help file with the trial version? That would be crazy because how else does one get started with learning, so I'm wondering why I'm unable to find a Help file.

Hi & welcome to the forum,
The TBYB version doesn't come with any help files to reduce the download size. Personally, I agree, it is crazy to not include them, but thankfully the user manual is available for download here - User Manual.
Also, you might want to have a look at the Forums Video Products Tutorials section.

Thank you for the quick and helpful reply. Excellent. The manual and tutorials have me off and running with decent results for first time experimenting. Video Studio is a nice program, I've tried a number of them the last few days and VS is far and away the more intuitive to use for editing. Terrifically helpful interface and clear presentation. I'll be placing my order to purchase.
