I would like to add an animation I have recently created and edited with V8 to my web page. Easy enough, but how do I do it so that it can be viewed but not downloaded, like the film previews etc. I am fairly familiar with HTML .Any tips gratefully received
Cheers

As far as I am aware, Real Media files can only be viewed, not downloaded. Create a .rm file from your animation.
The only downside is that you will have to just provide a link - people can click on it, and their Real Player will spool up and play the video.

Hi kusanagi

I tried a test movie some time ago 1.5 minutes, this one is .rm file. about 1.5 Mb

Is this the type of thing you need.
The only problem using real player is that not everyone has it installed.

I also tried media player 4 minutes and 4.5 Mb

If you want to prevent people from downloading the file, you'll have to use a streaming media format, such as RealMedia's RealVideo or Microsoft's ASF. In addition to using one of these formats, you'll want to take advantage of the Digital Rights Management (DRM) features.

However, there are recorders out there whose only purpose is to attempt to record this stuff anyway -- some work better than others.
