Can't get Activation to connect to the internet for UVS 10
Has anyone every had any trouble trying to get the Ulead VideoStudio 10 Plus TBYB to connect with the internet with the activation code? I am running broadband and am connected 24/7. Everytime I try to insert my activation code I keep getting the error message "Cannot connect to server, check your internet connections and try again". I have disabled my McAfee firewall and still get the same message time and time again. I try to get help from Ulead and Element5.com and they won't help because I don't have a registered product due to the fact that I can't activate it...kind of a circle of death.

Have you followed the procedures described HERE?
This is one of many reasons why we recommend against the activation method. I would try to contact Element5, and request a link to a Full version, to download. It is always better, once you are finished evaluating the software, and want to purchase it, to purchase it, download the purchased copy, uninstall the TBYB, then install your purchased version. Then also make sure that you burn your downloaded files, including the serial number, to disk.

Thanks for your response. Yes I have tried that link to activate and still get the same error message. I've even tried the clean install as recommended in the FAQ but all I've had to reinstall was the Ulead VideoStudio 10 Plus TBYB version. I guess I will see if they will let me download the full version somehow. I have my license code and am ready to go if I can just get through this activation process somehow.
