Photo Explorer 8.5

Post by bmausti »

When I click on a picture and it opens in Photo Explorer 8.5, a noise comes
from my floppy drive like it is trying to open the file from a floppy disk.
I have uninstalled the program and re-installed it and still have this problem.

After using a floppy, PEX now defaults to a floppy at the next start up.

Insert a floppy in to Drive A and restart PEX. After PEX has check out the contents, go to a folder on your C drive (or D or E or whatever, check it out and shut PEX down. The default has now been reset to that folder in that drive.

Noise from Floppy Drive-Photo Explorer 8.5

Thanks Bobm03. I tried what you suggested and that did not work.
The program is making the noise like when you go to the A drive and
there is no disk in it.

Try this in PhotoExplorer:

Select File->Preference->General->Always start program in and then change the startup folder.

Hope this helps.
