DVD burns but is unreadable

I am using VideoStudio 7.01.0000 to burn a DVD+R. The write is successful but the DVD created cannot be read in my computer or either of my DVD players (old and new). I have tried writting to disk, creating an ISO file, etc...I have also applied the DVD burner updates.

Help please

have you written in UDF or Jolliet format?

Jolliet i found i could lnot read on any pc or DVD but only on the drive it was written under.

Also DVD RW discs dont tend to play on DVD players.
