I open Instant VideoXpress and it is set to PAL B by default and it has the flickering problem so I set it to PAL 60 which solves this.
Then I open Ulead VideoStudio 9 SE DVD, go to Movie Wizard, Capture, it then says Capture Module initialization failed. Failed to build a preview grah. [15001:33:1] [15064:20:0] When I press OK, then Start Capture it says Failed to build a preview graph. [15065:29:0]
As soon as I'm pressing Capture Video on VideoStudio, the setting on VideoXpress gets automatically switched back to PAL B.
If I close VideoXpress altogether and then press Capture Video the Xbox screen will show but it has the flickering problem, with flickering green also. Any ideas on what could be happening?

Sligstorm:
Adstech, which makes the VideoXpress device, are notorious for their proprietary hardware which only works with software made by them or third party software tweaked by them to work with their hardware.
Don't get me wrong -- their hardware works very well, BUT only with their specific software.
Your device should have come with an Adstech capture program called CapWiz. This in itself is a good program. So the idea is that you capture in mpeg-2 format with CapWiz. Then you open VS and simply use the Insert Video command, point it to where your captured video is, and import it into VS for editing.
Sorry -- know nothing about Xbox...
