Can VS 8 and DVD Movie Factory work together?

I'm interested in knowing if you can create menus in Movie Factory and somehow use them in Video Studio. I have VS and only a 2.5 SE version of MF, so I was wondering if it was worth it to go and buy one of the newer versions of MF or not.
