I am a novice when it comes to computers and AV. I had been using Windows Movie Maker to capture video from my digital video camera. It was easy to use because all you had to do was drag the scenes you wanted to use from your captured video and drop them onto a storyboard. My problem is when I wanted to burn the movie to a dvd the final product was not as clear as my original Mini DV Tape. I went on a video forum and was told that WMM used a format that compressed the files a lot. It was suggested that I try Ulead Movie Factory.
I downloaded the trial version. I captured about 45 minutes of video from my Canon Elura 100. I have read through the help section several times but I can't figure out how to delete a couple of the scenes. Should I be in the section that says Edit Room or Multi Trim? All I want to do is delete some of the footage and copy the remaining movie to a DVD.
Thanks
