DUH! Yes -- in principle you can, but as you give us absolutely no information about your digital camera and how it is then connected to your computer (let alone your computer specs), we cannot give a definitive answer. Many digital cameras have a pass through feature, allowing you to connect an analogue camera to it, so that it merely acts as a 'bridge' to your computer. Often, you will need to take out the mini DV tape from the digital camera while the transfer is in progress. Other cameras, by contrast, will not strictly act as a pass-through, but will at least record the analogue tape to its own mini-DV tape, which can, in a separate operation, then be captured by the computer via Firewire. And finally, there are some digital video cameras, particularly many sold in Europe for some reason, which will not accept input from an external source, whether it is an analogue camera or even export of edited video back to the camera from the computer...

Your camera needs analog inputs. Some cameras have them, some don't. These look like the 3 "RCA-type"connectors on the back of your VCR (yellow=video, red=right audio, white=left audio) . Your VCR will have at least six (3 inputs & 3 outputs).

Check your user's manual for "analog input."

A quick Internet search tells me that your camera has a "SCART" adapter. One end has a rectangular SCART connector that plugs into the camera, and RCA connectors at the other end. However, I don't know if the RCA connectors are inputs, outputs, or both. If you see a set of RCA connectors marked "input", thats it! If it only has 3 (unmarked) RCA connectors, I'd guess they are outputs for a monitor, or for transferring from DV to analog... the opposite of what you want.
