Modified Edges

Post by thundertom »

Hello
First i want to say sorry for my english but i really need help :(

There is really big problem. There are lines - Video 1, 2, 3 for example
in video 1 there is COLOR CLIP with white color, its for overlays.
in video 2 is picture (photoshop edges in .jpg)
in video 3 is clip from game and i added Overlay there, i made Mask image mattle and picture in image mattle is same as in line 2 but its only white/black, and when i start the clip there is picture from line under.
Its all ok, it is that what i need BUT! If ill save that white/black background (pillow) and i will add it on another clip, there is error. Ok so ill add every overlay one by one BUT if ill save all project and ill load it again i cant load it. It says: File reading Error.

Im really unhappy. By the way, that pillow for picture isnt straight edge, its a bit bumpy / rugged so for that i need that background on that clip and under line that edge, because if ill give picture overlay on the clip, its a bit white because that picture is white between two edges for that i need give it to line 2 and in line 3 pillow (base) for that screen...

But if ill do it i cant even load it again... im really sad. I tryed to reinstall but it doesnt help.

Its all in MediaStudio Pro 8.0
Help me please

Sorry I can't interpret you're language, but it does seem to be a memory address type error. This could be due to several things.

I did notice in your screen shots this: Image

I don't know how powerful a system you are running but having all that running at the same time you are trying to edit is just increasing the likelihood for errors.

Please complete your System Information in your profile. Clicking on this button -->Image will take you to a short tutorial, explaining how to find and complete that information. This way it will always be available, and will save you from retyping it in the future. That my help us in determining if that is why your program is crashing.

You might want to review Steve's tutorial on Creating a Video Editing Profile.

It's still not enough - I can't see what you're trying to achieve.

It looks to me like you want to put upper-and lower-thirds on your Counter Strike:Source capture so that it looks similar to news footage.

To do this, make your overlay screens separately, including transparency, then you just have two video tracks on your finished edit - the game footage itself on V1 and the composited video on V2.

You can try to do everything in a single pass if you want, but it's only beneficial where your footage will suffer from recompression.
